There are so many things to do in Cornwall, too many to mention! But here are just a few more ideas:

There are numerous and varied activities all nearby including coarse fishing and cycle hire at East Rose (a short walk). Wild Brown Tout fishing in the De Lank River (again a short walk). Another fishing experience is at the Temple Trout Fishery. Horse riding is to be found at Hallagenna Stables (a 5 minute walk).
There are many golf courses nearby including St Kew and Bowood House at Camelford. Swimming can be found at Hengar Manor which is just outside the village and one can also fish and play golf here

Or you may just choose to walk across the open spaces of the moor, breathing in the clean air and enjoying the peace and beauty which is Bodmin Moor.
Pencarrow House and Gardens, Bodmin - An historic Georgian House and Grade II listed garden. Walks through the woodland gardens, a children's play area and lovely tea room make this a wonderful day out.

Wetherbam Manor Gardens, St Tudy. An ancient Cornish Manor garden populated by wildlife. Enjoy the Mill Pond Tea Rooms.

Cotehele House, Saltash. A National Trust owned property dating from 1485. An ancient and romantic place above the River Tamar. Enjoy the shop and Barn restaurant, the Quay and Gallery, the Mill and country walks around the estate.

For the kids:

The World in Miniature near Perranporth, featuring Jurassic Adventure World, crazy golf, the animated Wild West Town and a ball pool for the younger children and many more attractions.

The National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth. Britain's biggest and Europe's deepest aquarium with over 4,000 amazing creatures.

Shires Adventure Park, near Wadebridge which features the longest most exhilarating Watercoaster Ride in the South West and lots more!

Screech Owl Sanctuary, nr. Indian Queens, just off the A30. Rehabilitation, conservation and education centre with the largest collection of owls in the South West. Ideal for all those Harry Potter fans out there!

Or why not take a day trip by helicopter to the fabulous Isles of Scilly and spend the day on picturesque St Mary's or discover the delights of the world famous Tresco Gardens. A

Selection of Pubs:

The Old Inn, St Breward. Our wonderful 11th Century village pub. The highest Inn in Cornwall and offering real ales, great food and wine. Sunday lunch is enormous and traditional. They have also just completed the building of the new restaurant, which is lovely. (Take away service.)

St Kew Inn, St Kew. Lovely old pub in idyllic setting. Great steak and real ales.

The Quarryman, Edmonton, Wadebridge. Excellent food and warm welcome. Open all day.

The Blisland Inn. Blisland. Great old pub in wonderful village of Blisland. Best known for its' real ales. Open all day.
